Q. Am I eligible for a rebate?

There is a range of Federal and State Government rebates available. The eligibility of these rebates depends on what energy or water conservation or generation activities you are undertaking and which state you live in.

Q. How is The Green Project able to offer a free service?

A range of Federal and State Government schemes offer carbon credits for installing environmentally friendly products in your house.

The Green Project is able to sell these credits to other organisations, which enables it to offer you a free service.


Q. Do I have a choice of free products?

Yes, there are a number of products that can be recommended based on your budget and interior design requirements of your house.


Q. If I am not happy with the products, will you replace them?

All products come with a product guarantee and these guarantees are specific to each product. The Green Project team will work with you to ensure you are satisfied and happy with your product.


Q. Can I do it myself?

No you can not. By using The Green Project, you get access to qualified and experienced assessors and installers who are able to identify energy and water saving options and provide guaranteed quality installations.


Q. Can I change the time of my appointment?

Yes you can. Once you are aware that the agreed time is not longer suitable, please call 1800 442 443 and quote your reference number to arrange a new time.


Q. Are there any costs I need to pay for?

The costs that you will be responsible for are installation costs only. These costs do not apply to light globes or showerheads but do apply to solar panel hot water services and ceiling insulation. Some of these costs may be subsidised, Call 1800 442 443 for more information on estimated installation costs.


Q. Do I need to buy what the assessor recommends?

No you do not. However at the Green Project we are in the continued pursuit of quality and service excellence so the products we recommend are based on a range of strict quality and safety guidelines.


Q. Who will come to my home?

A Green Project qualified and experienced assessor who will inspect your house and help you to identify energy and water saving options will visit you. The assessor may also provide advice on energy and water saving products and solutions.


Q. Do I have to change the energy provider I use?

No, you will not need to change the energy provider, however you may want to consider alternative sources, eg green or renewable energy. Your Green Project assessor will be able to talk to you about these alternatives.
