Installations:

Light bulbs:

1.    Enact Energy will change all incandescent standard 75 Watt and 100 Watt Screw and Bayonet light globes  to energy efficient CFL (compact fluorescent lamps)  equivalents
2.    Light bulb installation programmes are currently available to householders in Victoria and South Australia
3.    South Australian households are only entitled to up to eight (8) bulbs
4.    Householders are required to sign over green rights associated with the free install to the Green Project.  This is a part of government scheme administration and has no further implication beyond using the products for their lifetime.
5.    Enact Energy offers a number of light bulb brands which may vary over time
6.    Enact Energy preferences spiral shaped bulbs of at minimum of 10,000 hour rated life expectancy in a warm white colour (2700k) which is similar to an incandescent in colour rendition
7.    Enact Energy does not replace down lights, dimmerables and lights that do not have a Bayonet or Screw fitting within the free service
8.    Enact Energy does not replace bulbs in touch lamps or dimmer switches as the CFL may interfere with the technology
9.    All globes must be in reach of a step ladder that will be provided by the installer and must not require additional resources to change.
10.    Installers reserve the right to not change lights in fittings at their complete discretion, not limited to but including those that are deemed to be old, dangerous or which are too high to be reached safely
11.    Enact Energy removes and recycles all old globes removed from the property

 

Showerheads

1.    Showerheads are offered in some areas of Victoria and South Australia under circumstances that vary from time to time. Check the up to date campaign material or ask one of our product specialists about whether showerheads are available in your area
2.    Enact Energy offers a number of showerhead brands which may vary over time
3.    Enact uses a minimum 3 star Wels rated, 9 litre per minute showerhead
4.    Low flow showerheads must always replace a non-water saving variety
5.    Enact Energy will only replace shower heads that are not powered by gravity feed systems
6.    Enact Energy will not replace hand held shower hoses
7.    Shower heads must be easily reached and changed. Enact Energy reserves the right not to change any showerhead that may contain faulty plumbing or other problems
8.    Enact Energy contractors have full Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) training, however are not licensed plumbers.
9.    By accepting the free service, you acknowledge there may be a risk associated and accept that Enact Energy is not liable for any issues which may arise from your installation

Solar Hot Water and High Efficiency Heat Pumps

1.    Enact Energy prices are based on a number of factors:
    a.    Eligibility for State, Federal and Local Council rebates
    b.    Location of property
    c.    Applicability of Renewable Energy Credits (RECS) 
    d.    Whether or not the household is switching from a less efficient fuel source (e.g. electricity to gas)
    e.    Any means testing or other criteria as may be applied from time to time by the controlling organisations setting the rebates and/or incentive
2.    All final quoted prices include relevant State and/or Federal rebates that may or may not be discounted at point of sale. Some rebates require upfront payments which are later reimbursed.
3.    Prices are quoted based on a standard installation only. Extras costs may result from:
    •    Installation on a two storey roof
    •    The need to remove or alter roof tiles
    •    The upgrade of a gas line
    •    The need to install a powerpoint
    •    Any other incidental costs as identified by the installer
4.    If your installation is not classed as standard you will be notified of the increased price by one of our installers when they conduct their site visit
5.    Prices may also vary by region

Product Warranty

1.    Enact Energy works with trusted brands and leading manufacturers to provide the best products and services to householders
2.    Warranty for products installed by Enact Energy remain with the individual manufacturers
3.    Details of individual product warranties are available on request

Installation Services

1.    Enact Energy works with local installers to deliver your services
2.    Warranties for installation works remains with those installers who will be happy to assist should any issues arise

Green Power

1.    Enact Energy may offer GreenPower deals and offers from time to time
2.    Enact Energy only supports accredited GreenPower products

Stated Energy and Financial Savings

1.    Energy and Financial savings are based on government data and sourced from
a. Sustainability Victoria
b. Department of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts
c. Department of Climate Change NSW
d. Your Home

 

Data Protection

 

You acknowledge and agree that details provided by you to us over the telephone and those details set out in the Assessment and Assignment Form, including but not limited to, your name, address and any benefit details may be submitted to the Installer and, where applicable, any utility company providing funding, and personal data will be processed by and on our behalf, the Installer and any utility company in connection with the services.
